The annual HIV Stigma Summit offers public health professionals, healthcare and service providers, and community members an opportunity to engage in dialogue around HIV stigma in the healthcare system, criminal justice system, and wider community.

We Want to Hear from You!

We are now accepting abstract proposals for workshops, panels, and presentations that address topics concerning HIV stigma. We encourage submissions from all types of presenters. Whether you’re a public health professional, community advocate, or lived-experience expert, we want you to share your knowledge and experience.

Topics may include (but are not limited to):

• HIV and the Law
• Status Disclosure
• Science & HIV Stigma
• HIV Stigma & Healthcare Systems
• HIV and Aging
• Youth and HIV
• Long-Term and Life-Term Survivors
• Intersections of Racism, Homophobia/Transphobia, and Ageism
• Community Empowerment & Advocacy Opportunities
• Creative/Interactive Workshops

Please limit your abstract to 250 words or less. Identify the following information in your abstract:

• Topic of your session
• Session format (e.g. lecture, panel, interactive workshop, etc.)
• Learning objectives for your session
• Any relevant background information

Session Details:

• Length: Up to 1 hour
• Audience Size: 50–75 attendees
• Audience Type: A mix of community members and professionals from the HIV and healthcare fields
