Moving Faith Forward in the South to End the Epidemic

Faith leaders, people living with HIV, and leaders in the HIV & AIDS response gather for the 2024 Faith Pre-conference to USCHA.

This year’s preconference theme is: «Moving Faith Forward in the South to End the Epidemic.» In alignment with the USCHA theme: «Southern Joy,» the focus of the pre-conference will be on the experiences of people in the Southern region of the U.S. and the role of faith in combating HIV-related stigma and discrimination in the South.

The pre-conference will include keynote addresses, panel discussions with persons living with and affected by HIV, and breakout sessions on social determinants related to HIV including disparities in HIV education, prevention, and treatment as a consequence of geographic location.

Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in the discussion, develop strategies, and network with colleagues working in and with faith communities.
